Queer/Bar

A home for the queer community seven days a week, our goal is to help Capitol Hill remain the epicenter of Seattle’s gay scene. Queer/Bar hosts live drag performances, dance nights, DJs, burlesque performers, viewing parties, trivia, movie nights, community discussions and a rotating chef series. From Ru Paul’s Drag Race finalists to national LGBTQIA+ cultural icons, Queer/Bar’s event calendar is continuously jam-packed with an impressive lineup of gender-bending performances. And with weekly karaoke, trivia and viewing parties hosted by local drag celebrities—Queer/Bar is the city’s number one spot for queer entertainment.

In addition to hosting unbeatable talent all year long, Queer/Bar hosts the annual Queer/Pride Festival every summer. Queer/Pride is quickly becoming Seattle’s biggest party during Pride Weekend. This 3-day outdoor event includes multiple stages, dance floors, bars and VIP experiences. The festival has been headlined by notable artists such as LGBTQIA+ icon Big Freeda, Grammy award-winning artist Mýa, and a long list of A-list RuPaul’s Drag Race stars.

Through mega-inclusive weekly performances, special events, and the annual Queer/Pride Festival, Queer/Bar celebrates Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ community by providing a safe, fun and inclusive space for all.

queer/pride

Queer/Pride is an annual 3-day music and performance festival hosted by Queer/Bar and The Cuff Complex during Seattle’s Pride Weekend. With multiple stages and dance floors in the heart of Capitol Hill, this outdoor summer extravaganza has quickly become the mega-inclusive centerpiece of Seattle’s Pride Weekend. The Queer/Pride performance lineup has been as diverse as the community it celebrates. Headliners for the gender-bending festival have included LBGTQ icon and “Queen of Bounce” Big Freedia and Grammy award-winning R&B songbird and Dancing with the Stars alum Mýa.

The perfect drag-suation for all RuPaul’s Drag Race fans, Queer/Pride festival goers have enjoyed performances from a long list of A-list RupPul’s contestants including "Vanjie" Mateo, Alaska Thunderfu*ck, Ginger Minj, and Valentina. Queer/Pride
also offers a platform for some of Seattle’s most talented local queer performers as well as nationally-celebrated DJs and dancers. And beyond musical entertainment, events throughout the festival have included Alternative Pride, Pigs Fly, Make Out Party and the 36-hour nonstop party known as Pride Is for Everyone. Queer/Pride also partners with a nonprofit beneficiary organization each year, most recently the OutRight Action International. Going into its third year, Queer/Pride is thrilled to offer a fun, safe, and inclusive festival event to celebrate Pride Weekend with Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Baby Baby Bar Food

Baby Baby Bar Food is a takeout and to-go kitchen focusing on comfort food staples which debuted during the 2020 pandemic. Head chef Cherry Markos creates guilty pleasure eats that bring a sense of nostalgia and fun and will be a full service concept when indoor seating is allowed. Located in Queer/Bar, our kitchen is committed to extending hospitality beyond the four walls Baby Baby and into the surrounding community. That means carefully sourced premium ingredients from like-minded purveyors we admire and love; thoughtful, well-crafted and responsible design for its place; and deep community support through donations, events, and volunteering. Also… “nobody puts baby in the corner."
